Discover the art of mosaics and bring your creativity to life in this Culture Days workshop!

Celebrate Ontario Culture Days with a hands-on mosaic art workshop led by local artist MaryLou Hurley. MaryLou will introduce you to her unique world of mixed media mosaic art as seen in her current exhibit at the Caledon East Branch. While creating a piece of glass and ceramic art, you will learn basic mosaic design, the use of specialized tools and the grouting process. You’re welcome to bring your own shells, jewelry or plates if you would like to personalize your work but everything you need is included.

Hosted in the Cory Trépanier Creativity Studio, this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.

Two sessions are available on Saturday, September 27: one morning session and one evening session. Registration is required; limited spaces available.
