Discover what it takes to get into astronomy—from using telescopes and binoculars to simply looking up and understanding the wonders of the night sky.

Astronomy can be a fun and exciting hobby that gives you a whole new way of looking at the world. It even lets you travel back in time—seeing light from stars and galaxies that’s taken hundreds, thousands, or even millions of years to reach us.

Join us for a discussion about what it takes to get into astronomy. We’ll cover how to identify constellations, use binoculars and telescopes, and just enjoy the night sky. From simple handheld gear to small computerized telescopes that let you snap photos with your phone, there’s something for everyone.

It’s a hobby that’s as big and endless as the universe itself!

Please cancel if you are unable to attend due to the popularity of our programs. This way more people from the community are able to join. Thank you for being a good neighbour.
